Most Valuable Promotions, led by Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian, continues its push into women’s boxing with its first UK event in London, headlined by Caroline Dubois vs Terri Harper and Ellie Scotney vs Mayelli Flores.

The move reflects a broader strategy that has defined MVP since its launch in 2021 - fully committing to women’s boxing.

Their first major step was signing Amanda Serrano, building events around her and placing women’s fights in prominent positions on major cards. That approach quickly gained traction, especially through the trilogy between Katie Taylor and Serrano, which drew millions of viewers across platforms like DAZN and Netflix.

Bidarian’s background with the Ultimate Fighting Championship also shaped the vision, particularly witnessing the rise of Ronda Rousey as one of the biggest stars in combat sports. That experience reinforced his belief that women’s boxing could reach a similar level with the right investment and structure.

MVP has since expanded by signing top fighters and prospects, including Alycia Baumgardner and developing talent like Yokasta Valle, while continuing to build cards centered entirely around women’s bouts. Fighters such as Dubois have pointed to the promotion’s proactive and confident approach as a key factor in their decision to join.

The long-term goal is clear: to create a consistent platform where elite female fighters headline major events globally. As Bidarian put it, the aim is to build a system where “you’re going to get championship fight after championship fight at the world level,” positioning women’s boxing as a standalone force within the sport.
