Harlem Eubank left Manchester’s AO Arena seething after a clash of heads and a trip to the scorecards handed Jack Catterall a technical decision on Saturday night. The Brighton stylist insists the six completed rounds were “three apiece” and claims Sky pundit Carl Frampton, Catterall’s former gym-mate, misled viewers into thinking the bout was halted for Eubank’s cut rather than Catterall’s “nasty gash.”
Catterall’s southpaw left hand controlled the early going, but Eubank argues he was “executing a late-fight game plan” when an accidental butt split both men and prompted ringside doctors to wave it off. Judges returned wide cards for Catterall, cementing his path back toward a world-title shot; Eubank, now 21-1 (9 KOs), saw his own breakout bid derailed by inches of leather and bad luck.

Backstage, Eubank confronted Catterall’s team and says he received verbal agreement for an immediate rematch. “If Jack’s genuine, he’ll run it back straight away,” Eubank told BoxingScene. “If they don’t, that tells you everything.”
Whether Catterall entertains a second dance or presses ahead toward title contention will dictate Eubank’s next move - but the younger Eubank’s message is clear: he wants another night in Manchester, this time without the controversy.
