Tyson Fury’s comeback fight now has an official home, as it has been confirmed that Fury will return to the ring against Arslanbek Makhmudov at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London on Saturday, April 11.

‘The Gypsy King’ retired in January 2025 after consecutive defeats to Oleksandr Usyk, but at the start of this year he announced his return. With ambitions of reclaiming world titles, avenging Usyk or finally settling a long-discussed clash with Anthony Joshua later in the year, Fury will first face Makhmudov - a dangerous puncher who has only lost twice.

The venue was confirmed by Ring Magazine’s Turki Alalshikh: “Fury vs Makhmudov will take place at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday 11 April, with the landmark London venue confirmed to host the heavyweight bout. The event is promoted by The Ring and will be broadcast globally on Netflix.”

Alalshikh also confirmed that a launch press conference will be held on Monday, February 16 at 4pm at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with the event streamed live on Ring Magazine and Netflix’s YouTube channels.

The fight will mark the fifth boxing event at Spurs’ 62,850-capacity stadium. The venue previously hosted the first Anthony Joshua vs Oleksandr Usyk clash, Fury’s trilogy bout with Derek Chisora, and two meetings between Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn in 2024.
