Amanda Serrano has inked a lifetime contract with Most Valuable Promotions, the company confirmed Tuesday. The multi-division champion and likely future Hall of Famer will remain an MVP fighter through her retirement - after which she’ll transition to chairwoman of their women’s boxing initiatives, using her formidable experience to scout and foster the next wave of female talent.
Serrano turned pro in 2009 and came onto MVP’s radar in 2020 while sharing an undercard with co-founder Jake Paul. Under the MVP banner, she’s taken part in eight bouts, including two instant-classic showdowns with Katie Taylor at New York’s Madison Square Garden and Texas’ AT&T Stadium, the latter co-headlining Paul’s pay-per-view event with Mike Tyson. Those fights were both critical and commercial hits, making Serrano’s standing as one of the most influential female fighters out there.

Manager Jordan Maldonado had already been collaborating with MVP to identify and support Puerto Rican boxers, and now Serrano’s new role means she’ll have an even bigger say in shaping the company’s women’s boxing roster. Co-founder Nakisa Bidarian and Paul heralded the deal as a major step, highlighting Serrano’s knack for “shattering glass ceilings” and pushing for parity in the sport, whether it’s equal pay, equal respect, or the chance to fight 12 three-minute rounds.
If you’ve been following Serrano’s career, you know her fighter spirit transcends the ring. She’s set her sights on expanding opportunities for the next generation of women in combat sports, and MVP clearly shares her passion.
