Harlem Eubank’s July 18 fight with David Papot will be used to launch new combat sports technology designed to show fans real-time data during the action.

The welterweight 12-rounder at London’s Copper Box Arena will feature Gladius technology, including digital gumshields that measure punch power, speed, impact points, combinations and fatigue. The data will be shown on arena screens, while DAZN viewers will also get AI-personalised feeds.

The broadcast will also include Matrix-style volumetric replays, allowing major punches to be viewed from a 360-degree angle. Gladius says the aim is to give fans a clearer understanding of what is happening in the ring beyond what the eye can see.

“This is the beginning of a new era of combat sports,” Gladius CEO Oliver Hickey said. “On July 18, fans will see every punch’s power, speed, and impact in real time.”

The technology will add another layer to the event, but Eubank still has a serious fight in front of him. Papot enters after a competitive points defeat to former world champion Liam Paro and will look to spoil the night.

The card, promoted by MF Pro and Neilson Boxing, will also feature another welterweight matchup between Kieran Molloy and Sean Noakes.
