Jarrell Miller says he wants Deontay Wilder next, with the Brooklyn heavyweight pushing for an all-American clash now that Wilder is back in the win column.

Wilder recently beat Derek Chisora on points in Manchester, giving him two straight wins for the first time since 2019 and keeping alive his hopes of becoming a two-time heavyweight champion. A fight with Oleksandr Usyk has been mentioned, but with Usyk tied to mandatory obligations, Wilder may need another major win to move closer to a vacant title shot or stronger ranking position.

Miller believes he is the right opponent. “I’ve been asking him to fight for years,” Miller told Play UK. “If he’s got old overnight, that’s his problem. I’m still going to punch him in the face.”

The 37-year-old was not overly impressed by Wilder’s win over Chisora, but he says the result keeps their fight marketable. “Wilder got the win, so it’s better for me now,” Miller said. “I’m going to try to make a big American clash and we duke it out.”
