A near-sell-out crowd filled Newark’s Prudential Center on Saturday to watch local favorite Vito “White Magic” Mielnicki Jr. headline a busy card that mixed unbeaten prospects, regional grudge matches, and a pair of all-Polish heavyweight showdowns.

In the main event, Mielnicki’s jab dictated pace from the opening bell, and a short right hand in round 3 sent Kamil Gardzielik down and bloodied. The Newark native never let the visitor into the fight, piling up rounds behind steady body work and long rights to sweep the cards 100-89 across the board.

Jahi Tucker doubled and tripled his punches while southpaw Lorenzo “Truck” Simpson fired single shots and clinched inside. Body flurries in the middle frames proved decisive, giving Tucker a 96-94, 97-93, 97-93 unanimous nod.

Damian Knyba survived an early head clash that cut his own brow, then opened a gash on Marcin Siwy’s left eye with chopping rights. A sustained eighth-round assault worsened the wound, and the ringside doctor waved it off before round 9.

Dwyke Flemmings Jr. needed just 129 seconds to drop Demian Fernandez three times with thudding body shots, forcing a first-round stoppage and moving to 11-0 with 10 KOs.

Norman Neely cracked James Willis with a right hand in the final minute of round 1, swarming until referee Eric Dali stepped in at 2:08. Willis protested the quick hook, but the result stood.

Brandun Lee chased a negative Elias Araujo for eight one-sided rounds, scoring a fifth-round knockdown and coasting to a trio of 80-72 scorecards.

Debutant Lisandra Contreras impressed at super-bantam, flooring Montana Weems in round 1 and winning 40-35 on all three cards. Kahshad Elliott out-boxed Titus Ashe for a 38-35 sweep despite a late cut, Muadh Abdus-Salaam eked out a 39-37, 40-36, 38-38 majority over Roberto Cantos, and light-heavy southpaw Arjan Iseni scored three knockdowns to halt Kaine Tomlinson Jr. at 1:03 of round 2.
