WBC heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury, is gearing up for two high-profile bouts that are set to significantly boost his earnings. Fury is first slated to face MMA sensation Francis Ngannou in a boxing match this month. Following that, he will take on the unified heavyweight champion, Oleksandr Usyk, in a battle for the undisputed title. Both fights are scheduled to take place in Saudi Arabia, a nation known for its lavish spending to host premier sporting events.

The driving force behind securing these mega-fights in Saudi Arabia is Turki Alalshikh, chairman of the General Entertainment Authority and Head of Riyadh Season. Bob Arum, Top Rank boss and co-promoter for Fury, shared his excitement about the upcoming fights, hinting that Fury’s earnings could well exceed $100 million. Fury himself has expressed his ambition to top the Forbes list for the highest-paid athlete and has shown interest in venturing into Hollywood.

In related news, Matchroom Boxing's Eddie Hearn is in talks to organize a heavyweight clash in Saudi Arabia between former champions Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder. Hearn believes that the lucrative deals Fury is securing will benefit the boxing industry as a whole. Fury’s last bout was in December, where he triumphed with a 10th-round stoppage against Derek Chisora.
