Tom Loeffler’s 360 Promotions is bringing another exciting edition of Hollywood Fight Nights on Friday at the Commerce Casino Events Center in Los Angeles live on UFC Fight Pass.
Tickets for Hollywood Fight Nights are available now, with prices ranging from $80 to $200.
The main event features undefeated Omar Trinidad (16-0-11, 13 KOs), currently ranked #13 by the IBF and #15 by the WBC, making his second defense of the WBC Continental Americas Featherweight Title. He will face Hector "La Maquinita" Sosa (17-2, 9 KOs) of Buenos Aires, Argentina, who is ranked #4 by the IBF. This ten-round battle between Trinidad and Sosa is poised to be Trinidad's toughest test yet.
"Omar Trinidad continues to prove with each fight that he’s one of the top featherweights in boxing,"* said Tom Loeffler, promoter of the event. "Hector Sosa is a very solid, highly ranked world-class fighter with an impressive winning streak and represents Omar’s toughest opponent to date."
Trinidad has been on a roll this year. In January, he knocked out Jose Perez in the eighth round, followed by a thrilling tenth-round stoppage of Viktor Slavinskyi in July. Both of these wins came in front of sold-out crowds at the Commerce Casino, where Trinidad's supporters filled the venue.
Sosa, riding a three-fight winning streak, returns after a unanimous decision victory over Keenan Carbajal in Phoenix earlier this year. In 2023, he secured significant wins, including a knockout of James Dickens in Dubai and a ten-round decision over undefeated contender Laureano Sciuto in Argentina.
