Misfits has unveiled an exciting twist for their upcoming X Series 008, introducing a novel Survivor Tag Team bout to take place in Nashville, Tennessee. The innovative event will involve four fighters—British rapper, singer and boxer Swarmz, Santa Monica middleweight fighter Bdave, Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman Ryan Johnstone, and American YouTuber and internet personality NichLmao. In this unconventional face-off, there will be no alliances, with just one fighter crowned as the victor.
The Survivor Tag Team bout is set to break the mould with its unique rules. The four fighters will start from each corner of the ring, and the initial combatant will be chosen by a public vote on social media, boosting audience interaction. A fighter can tag in another at any point, and refusal to accept the tag will lead to instant elimination. Further, a TKO, KO, or knockdown can also result in a fighter's dismissal from the fight.
The X Series 008 is less about teamwork and more about individual resilience; the “last man standing” will emerge as the winner. However, if more than one fighter remains at the end, the victor will be decided based on a point system. Fighters will earn 8 to 10 points for their performance, taking into account elements such as power punches, the volume of punches landed, effective aggression, ring generalship, and defence. At the conclusion of the fourth round, these points will be totaled, and the fighter with the highest score will be declared the champion of X Series 008.
