Maliek Montgomery vs. Cesar Juarez: Montgomery wins by UD.

In the main event, super middleweight Lorenzo “Truck” Simpson (14-1, 8 KOs) squares off against Raiko Santana (10-4, 6 KOs).

In May, 24-year-old Simpson of Baltimore scored a first-round knockout over Noe Alejandro Lopez. The victory was a return to form for Simpson, who lost by majority decision in his most recent fight against Vladimir Hernandez this past August.

Simpson’s opponent will be 31-year-old Raiko Santana. He was last seen in November losing to Daniel Blancas by an eight-round unanimous decision despite dropping Blancas in round one.

Previously, Elijah Pierce, due to sickness, has pulled out of Friday night OTX8 card in Atlanta Pierce was due to meet Jose Sanmartin in a junior featherweight bout. In a post on social media, Pierce wrote:

”I regret to announce that I will be fighting at TBD because of personal illness. Appreciate all my supporters! And we comin back real soon.”

The co-main event features hard-hitting junior lightweight Maliek Montgomery (17-0, 16 KOs) taking on Cesar Juarez (29-15, 22 KOs) in an eight-round bout. Montgomery is returning to the ring after stopping Kenin Betancourt in the third round last June.

Additionally, the card will showcase unbeaten featherweight Tiara Brown (16-0, 11 KOs) of Lehigh Acres, Florida, who will face Uruguay's Gabriela Bouvier (19-12, 4 KOs) in a 10-round bout. Donta Layne (2-0, 2 KOs) from Elmont, New York, will square off against Montrel James (2-10, 0 KOs) of Saint Louis, Missouri, in a four-round bout. Finally, Casey Dixon (4-0, 4 KOs) from Atlanta will compete in a four-round light heavyweight bout.
