Romeo enters the fight with a record of 8-1 and 4 KOs, having earned significant respect in his most recent outing, where he showcased flashes of his potential. Across the ring will be Mallia (10-0, 6 KOs), described as a proven warrior and reigning Australian champion at welterweight, bringing both experience and an unbeaten record into the marquee matchup.
Promoted and matchmade by Isa Aiono and Ricky Colosimo, the fight was initially explored as a neutral-promotion contest before ultimately landing on the Wanderer Promotions card.
