This matchup pits two top contenders against each other, with the winner set to become the mandatory challenger for the WBA bridgerweight champion, Evgeny Tishchenko.
Romanov, aged 38, boasts an impressive record and has remained unbeaten since his professional debut in 2016. Starting his career at the age of 30, Romanov has demonstrated resilience and skill, quickly climbing the ranks to become a top contender in the bridgerweight division. On the other side of the ring, Zhang, 28, brings his own formidable record as a former WBA cruiserweight title challenger.
