Street-pop singer Portable will face actor and internet personality Charles Okocha in a celebrity boxing rematch on July 31 at the Balmoral Convention Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos.
The fight has been promoted as “Unfinished Business” and gives Okocha another opportunity to avenge his defeat in their first meeting at Landmark Beach.
Portable won the original four-round contest after controlling the early stages, although Okocha rallied later and subsequently disputed the judges’ decision.
The rivalry began in 2023 after Portable accused Okocha of cheating him in a business deal reportedly worth around ₦40 million, leading to a series of public exchanges before their first fight.
Portable enters the rematch looking to recover from his first celebrity boxing defeat after losing a unanimous decision to comedian Carter Efe. Before that setback, he had beaten Okocha and Speed Darlington and collected two championship belts.
