Overtime has announced its much-anticipated return to the boxing scene with an event scheduled for March 29 at the Overtime Elite Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. The event is set to feature Elijah Pierce (18-2, 15 KOs) battling Arthur Villanueva (35-4-1, 20 KOs) in an 8-round junior featherweight bout.

Pierce, who has successfully navigated his way down in weight classes, boasts an impressive record and is currently on a nine-fight winning streak. Villanueva, with a notable professional career since 2008, has faced ups and downs against top-tier opponents and is looking to extend his three-fight winning streak despite previously struggling against higher-level competition.

The event will showcase a total of five fights, including a junior lightweight clash between undefeated boxers Haven Brady Jr. and Waldemar Areizaga, both aiming to maintain their perfect records. Female junior middleweight Oshae Jones will face Sonya Dreiling, and heavyweight contenders Dacarree Scott and Detrailous Webster are also set to compete. The opening bout will see super middleweight newcomers Donte Layne and Deshun Mitchell go head-to-head.

In an innovative twist, the ring for the event will be smaller than usual, measuring 18x18 feet, with the intention of encouraging more action-packed fights. Additional incentives include a knockout bonus and a unique “Money Round” feature, which offers extra rewards for fighters achieving a knockout in the first or last round. In case of a draw, an extra round will be conducted to determine the winner, ensuring a decisive outcome for each match.
