Salita Promotions and Universal Promotions will bring BIG TIME BOXING back to Puerto Rico on Thursday, March 19, when the Pedrín Zorrilla Coliseum in San Juan hosts a card led by undefeated featherweight Félix Parrilla (12-0, 10 KOs). The event, streaming live on DAZN, marks Parrilla’s second appearance since signing a multi-year promotional agreement with Salita Promotions in partnership with Universal Promotions.
Parrilla will headline a night built around rising Puerto Rican talent, with fellow unbeaten prospects Abisael Cotto (10-0, 8 KOs), Ángel Carranza (11-1, 8 KOs), and Kiria Tapia (8-0, 1 KO) also featured. The show continues Salita and Universal’s push to spotlight the island’s next generation while restoring regular high-profile boxing events to San Juan.

The co-main event will showcase super featherweight Abisael Cotto, a 24-year-old from San Juan with a decorated amateur background that includes a 103-6 record, a national championship, and a silver medal in Ecuador. Widely regarded as one of the island’s brightest young contenders, Cotto continues to build momentum against professional opposition.
Also on the card is lightweight Ángel Carranza, a 24-year-old from Hatillo whose athletic journey began in kickboxing and Muay Thai before transitioning to boxing. Carranza, who holds a bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, has emerged as one of Puerto Rico’s most promising lightweights, blending discipline with knockout power.
Universal Promotions President Javier Bustillo highlighted the significance of the event, saying, “Last year we marked the beginning of a powerful alliance with Salita Promotions, and we are very excited about what we have planned for 2026.
