Three can’t-miss bantamweight showdowns, featuring a pair of world title fights, will rock Tokyo's Ariake Arena. In the headliner, pound-for-pound force Junto Nakatani (29-0, 22 KOs) defends his WBC crown against rising Mexican knockout artist David Cuellar (28-0, 18 KOs). Newly minted WBA champion Seiya Tsutsumi (12-0-2, 8 KOs) will make his first defense against former flyweight king Daigo Higa (21-3-1, 19 KOs) in the co-main event.
Additionally, kickboxing legend Tenshin Nasukawa (5-0, 2 KOs) continues his transition to boxing by squaring off against Australia’s ex-champ Jason "Mayhem" Moloney (27-3, 19 KOs) in a 10-round special feature. All three fights will stream live and exclusively on ESPN+ in the U.S., airing in the early morning hours.
Nakatani is coming off a dominant 2025 campaign, earning the WBC belt in February and defending it twice via stoppage. He now faces Cuellar, a native of Querétaro, Mexico, who has never fought outside his home country and boasts 18 knockouts.

Tsutsumi, a longtime Japanese bantamweight standout, captured the WBA title with a unanimous decision over Takuma Inoue in October. He’ll revisit his rivalry with Higa, the former WBC flyweight champion who battled Tsutsumi to a draw in 2020. Higa has since racked up five wins and will be hungry for redemption after dropping a decision to Yoshiki Takei for the WBO bantamweight title in September.
In the 10-round special attraction, Tenshin - already ranked top 10 by three sanctioning bodies - aims to further his growing reputation in the boxing realm. The 25-year-old Japanese superstar meets former WBO bantamweight champion Moloney, who became a fan favorite in Japan after an all-action slugfest with Takei at Tokyo Dome in May. Despite losing his belt in that fight, Moloney nearly forced a late stoppage, leaving everyone eager to see what he brings against Tenshin.
