Hughie Fury (30-3, 17 KOs) will make his long-awaited return to the ring on November 29, joining the undercard of rising light-heavyweight contender Gradus Kraus (8-0, 7 KOs) at the Sportcomplex de Wilgenring in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
The GBM Sports show marks Fury’s first outing since April, when he stopped Dan Garber in the fifth round. The 31-year-old heavyweight was due to face Michael Pirotton in June, but a hand injury forced him to withdraw. Now recovered, Fury looks to regain momentum against Michael Webster, a tough Yorkshireman known for his spirited performance in a close 2023 decision loss to Solomon Dacres.
Webster has since endured a difficult spell, suffering stoppage defeats to Dacres in their rematch and to Jeamie TKV earlier this year. Still, he represents a solid test for Fury, who aims to stay active and rebuild toward another major opportunity after years of inconsistent activity.
At the top of the bill, Kraus seeks to continue his ascent after a commanding points win over Scott Forrest last month. The 24-year-old, trained by Peter Fury alongside Hughie, faces Germany’s Rostam Ibrahim for the IBF European light-heavyweight title, a bout that could propel him into the world rankings.
“Gradus Kraus has global superstar potential,” said GBM promoter Izzy Asif. “Winning the IBF European title will open the door to the world top fifteen and world championship opportunities next year. Rotterdam will be behind him.”
