Freddy Kiwitt will defend his WBO Global super welterweight title against Uganda’s Henry Kigongo Kasujja on June 13 at Gorzelniaski Hall in Flensburg, Germany.
Kiwitt (29-3, 18 KOs), who is also promoting the event through PWR Box Promotion, puts only his WBO Global belt on the line, while his WBF title will not be at stake. For Kasujja (13-1-1, 5 KOs), this is a major step into new territory, as it will be his first fight in Europe after previously boxing in Uganda and Kenya.
The co-feature brings another strong title fight, with Ferdinand Pilz (27-1, 21 KO) facing Romania’s Flavius Biea (24-2, 12 KOs) for the WBO European middleweight title. That matchup adds real depth to the Flensburg card, with both men bringing strong records into a meaningful regional title bout.
Lara Ochmann (16-2, 6 KOs) also returns in a featured fight, defending her WBO International title against unbeaten Singaporean challenger Amanda Chan (12-0, 5 KOs). Like Kiwitt, Ochmann’s WBF belt will not be on the line.
