Unbeaten middleweight Francis Hogan will return on August 29 at Encore Boston Harbor against Ricardo Villalba in an eight-round non-title bout.
Hogan (22-0, 17 KOs) previously won the vacant NABF middleweight title at the venue by defeating Antonio Todd over eight rounds in November 2025. He followed that with a fifth-round disqualification victory over Patrick Allotey in March after dropping the former world-title challenger in the fourth.
Villalba (20-12-1, 8 KOs) brings considerable experience, having previously held regional titles at welterweight and super welterweight.
“The middleweight division is wide open right now,” Hogan said. “In this fight, I’m going to show the world that I belong amongst the best fighters in the division.”
Hogan has also mentioned newly crowned IBF champion Aaron McKenna as a possible future opponent but remains focused on Villalba first.
