Middleweight prospect Alexandre Gaumont (11-0, 7 KOs) is set to headline in his hometown of Gatineau, Canada, as he faces Argentina’s Andres Viera (12-8, 7 KOs) at Lac Leamy Casino.
Gaumont, a rising star in Canadian boxing, will be looking for his third straight victory at this venue.
The event, promoted by Eye of The Tiger, will also feature light heavyweight prospect Mehmet Unal (10-0, 8 KOs) in a 10-round co-main event. Unal has been on a knockout streak and will look to continue his dominance in the division.
On the undercard, Steve Claggett (38-8-2, 26 KOs) will return to the ring for the first time since his loss to Teofimo Lopez in June. Vanessa Lepage Joanisse (7-2, 2 KOs), also on the card, will be fighting for the first time since losing her WBC heavyweight title to Claressa Shields.
The card will also feature Pascal Villeneuve (4-2-1, 2 KOs), who steps back into the ring for the first time since May 2016. Villeneuve, who works at Lac Leamy Casino, will fight in front of a home crowd.
