A competitive junior welterweight clash will headline ProBox TV’s January 30 event, as Bryan Flores faces Starling Castillo in the main event at the Live! Casino and Hotel Maryland in Hanover.
Flores (27-1-1, 16 KOs) is coming off a rebound win following his August 2024 split-decision loss to Lindolfo Delgado. The 29-year-old Mexican returned in May with a second-round TKO of Hernan Leandro Carrizo, reasserting his presence after his first professional defeat.
Castillo (20-1-1, 13 KOs) represents the Dominican Republic and has quietly rebuilt momentum since his lone loss in early 2022, when he was dropped twice en route to a wide decision defeat against Otar Eranosyan. Since then, the 30-year-old has gone 4-0-1, including a draw with Kenny De Leon and a recent points win over Shinard Bunch in August.
The co-feature will see featherweight Sulaiman Segawa take on undefeated Rene Palacios. Segawa (18-5-1, 7 KOs) is fighting for just the second time since his September 2024 majority decision loss to Bruce Carrington and is coming off a seventh-round TKO of Bryan Acosta. Palacios (18-0-1, 10 KOs) last appeared in August, stopping Rafael Rosas Ramirez in three rounds.
