British boxing fans are in for a treat as Harlem Eubank (19-0, 8 KOs) makes his long-awaited return to the ring live and free on Channel 5. The unbeaten welterweight will face former French champion Nurali Erdogan (16-3, 1 KO).
Eubank, who delivered a standout performance in Brighton last year, attracting over two million TV viewers, recently signed a multi-fight deal with Wasserman Boxing. Now, he’s eager to get back to action and start what he calls “the biggest chapter” of his boxing career. “I plan on issuing a timely reminder as to what I am all about, live to the nation,” Eubank said, clearly fired up for his return.
The event, taking place in Bolton, is packed with British talent. Joining Eubank on the card are rising stars such as Dan Toward, Khaleel Majid, and heavyweight Matty Harris. Local favorite Alex Murphy and exciting fighters like Niall Brown, Codie Smith, Ben Marksby, and Sophie Alisch are also set to showcase their skills on the night.
Kalle Sauerland, head of Wasserman Boxing, expressed his excitement about Eubank’s return, saying, “Harlem is one of the biggest names in British boxing, and his return has been long overdue. Expect a performance that sends a warning shot to the welterweight division.”
