Mickey Bey returns on June 20 at Goodyear Local 18282 Hall in Akron, Ohio, where he faces Alexander Espinoza in a 10-round super featherweight main event promoted by Bey Bros Promotions.
Bey (26-3-1, 14 KOs) brings the name value and experience into the fight, having shared the ring at a much higher level across his career. Now fighting in Ohio, he gets another chance to stay active and headline in front of a local crowd.
Espinoza (24-9-3, 8 KOs) comes in as the more battle-tested opponent in terms of recent activity and will be looking to spoil Bey’s return. With the bout set for 10 rounds, he has the opportunity to make things uncomfortable if he can force the fight into longer, rougher stretches.
The card also features unbeaten Lamont Elmano Quarterman (8-0, 4 KOs) against James Martin (10-5-1, 0 KOs) in a six-round super middleweight bout, while Brandon Vega (5-0, 4 KOs) faces Benji Gomez (2-9, 0 KOs) at super lightweight.
Elsewhere, Charles Pugh (2-0, 1 KO) meets Giovanni Sarran (6-9, 1 KO) at cruiserweight, and unbeaten Kingdamon Antoine (11-0, 8 KOs) takes on Angel Hernandez Pillado (13-14, 7 KOs) in a six-round super featherweight fight.
