Tsendbaatar Erdenebat will headline a ProBox TV event on May 1 when he faces Cobia Breedy at Live! Casino and Hotel Maryland in Hanover.
Erdenebat (14-0, 6 KOs), who competes between junior lightweight and lightweight, continues his rise following a points win over Abraham Montoya in November. The 29-year-old Olympian, who reached the quarterfinals at the 2016 Games before losing to Shakur Stevenson, now steps into another key bout as he builds momentum in the professional ranks.
Breedy (18-1, 8 KOs), a 34-year-old based in Maryland, enters the fight on a three-bout winning streak since returning from a lengthy 41-month layoff. His most recent outing saw him stop Dexter Marques inside three rounds, continuing a comeback run after earlier setbacks that included a split decision loss to Tugstsogt Nyambayar and a no contest against Sulaiman Segawa.
The co-main event will feature unbeaten junior lightweight prospect Francois “Frankie” Scarboro Jnr (13-0, 9 KOs) against Maxwell Montes (13-4-1, 7 KOs). Scarboro comes off a hard-fought decision win over Brandon Valdes, while Montes rebounded in February with a shutout victory following a loss to Austin Brooks.
Also scheduled on the card, rising welterweight and junior middleweight prospect Travon Marshall (13-1, 10 KOs) takes on Jose Luis Sanchez (14-6-2, 4 KOs).
