Undefeated Sunny "Showtime" Edwards (19-0, 4 KOs) will defend his IBF flyweight title fighting against Chile’s unbeaten contender Andres "Cisa" Campos (15-0, 4 KOs) on June 10th at the OVO Arena in London.
Edwards defends his title for the fourth time since winning it in April 2021 against Moruti Mthalane. With ambitions for unification clashes later in the year, “Showtime” Edwards has already defeated Felix Alvarado, Muhammad Waseem, and Jayson Mama.
Now, he faces unbeaten Chilean challenger Campos, who is ranked seventh in the IBF rankings. The 26-year-old WBO Latino Flyweight champion since March 2020, Campos has been vocal in challenging Edwards in the past. With his most recent victory in January marking his 15th career win and fourth by knockout, Campos now has the opportunity to compete for the World title he has long desired.
There are two more world title fights on the card: Katie Healy challenges WBA women's bantamweight champion Nina Hughes and IBF women's super bantamweight champion Cherneka Johnson will defend her title against Ellie Scotney.
In the undercard, cruiserweight Cheavon Clarke (5-0, 4 KOs) will meet former title challenger David Jamieson (10-2, 7 KOs) in the 10-round bout, and Youssef Khomari (15-1-1 6 KOs) will fight against Reece Bellotti (15-5, 13 KOs) in the 10 round clash for the British super featherweight title eliminator.
