Shauna Browne will face unbeaten Jade Burden in a lightweight clash on October 25 at York Hall in London, with the WBA Gold and IBF International titles on the line.
Browne (8-1, 5 KOs) enters on a three-fight winning streak after suffering her only professional defeat against current IBF champion Elif Nur Turhan. She most recently stopped Lilia Cherifi in the third round on her Top Tier debut.
Burden (5-0, 2 KOs) will take a significant step up in competition as she looks to protect her unbeaten record. The 34-year-old is coming off a sixth-round stoppage victory over Katie Smith.
In the co-main event, Tiago Osoria Muxanga (4-0, 2 KOs) will face Muzamiru Kakande (11-1-1, 7 KOs) for the vacant IBF Continental Africa junior middleweight title.
Muxanga enters as a former Olympian, four-time African champion and Commonwealth Games silver medallist. He recently won the IBO All Africa super welterweight title by unanimous decision over Tunde Segun Adeyemi on July 12. “The Real King Kong” previously secured a dominant stoppage victory over Kevin Reavell for the Silver Commonwealth title.
Kakande fights out of Munich, Germany, and has built a reputation as a powerful contender under the Top Tier Boxing banner.
