Undefeated Austin Brooks (10-0, 3 KOs) steps into the ring against seasoned Anthony Chavez (11-3-1, 3 KOs) in a highly anticipated 10-round main event at the eminent Emerald Queen Casino in Tacoma.
Brooks, the emerging 130-pound sensation from Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, has showcased his skills in several notable ESPN bouts. However, this will mark his maiden venture into a fight exceeding six rounds. Speaking on his upcoming match, Brooks expressed, “I feel blessed for the opportunity to be fighting in the main event. To get my first 10-round fight against a quality opponent and in the main event is something I’ve been working towards. I will capitalize on this moment.”
Standing opposite Brooks will be the Redlands, California native, Anthony Chavez. Boasting a throwback style, Chavez is not only a bronze medalist from the 2015 USA National Championships but also trains under the renowned boxing coach, Henry Ramirez.
In the co-main event, fans can also look forward to a fierce clash between undefeated prospects Jon Bryant (8-0, 2 KOs) and Axl Melendez Salgado (6-0, 4 KOs).
