Puerto Rican pugilist Nestor “El Mas Bravo” Bravo (21-0, 15 KOs) prepares to take on Will Madera (17-2-3, 10 KOs) for the WBA Fedelatin super lightweight title over 10 rounds at the picturesque Caribe Royale Resort on DAZN.
Bravo, the undefeated Orlando-based fighter originally from Arecibo, Puerto Rico, is a name to be reckoned with in the boxing circuit. Currently ranked seventh globally by the World Boxing Association in the super lightweight category, Bravo is a cross-weight sensation. He holds the prestigious WBO-NABO junior welterweight title, secured by stopping Adrian Yung in seven rounds back in October 2022. Bravo is gunning for victory to regain his momentum after an unfortunate no-contest against WBC Latino Champion Jair Valtierra earlier this year, resulting from a head clash in the fourth round. Bob Santos, his dedicated trainer, is undoubtedly planning to steer Bravo back to his winning ways.
Stepping into the ring against Bravo is Madera, a Puerto Rican talent operating out of Albany, NY. Madera has a history of thrilling fights and has proven his worth time and again. Notably, he handed Brandun Lee the first knockdown of his career with a savage overhand right in August 2022, only narrowly missing out on victory when Lee rallied to win the bout. This followed Madera's successful stoppage of Jamshidbek Najmitdinov in the 5th round of their bout in October 2021, and a unanimous decision win against Thomas “Gunna Man” Mattice in February 2019.
