Alycia Baumgardner will move up to lightweight to challenge unbeaten IBF champion Elif Nur Turhan on November 8 at College Park Center in Arlington, Texas.
Baumgardner (18-1, 7 KOs) currently holds the WBO, IBF and WBA titles at junior lightweight and will attempt to become a two-division world champion. Turhan (14-0, 8 KOs) will make her first appearance under the Most Valuable Promotions banner after recently joining the company from Matchroom.
The fight will be contested over 10 three-minute rounds, marking the first time Turhan has boxed under that format as a professional.
“I know what it takes to become undisputed. I’ve done it before, and I’ll do it again,” Baumgardner said.

In the co-main event, Ellie Scotney will move up to featherweight to challenge unbeaten WBC champion Tiara Brown.
Scotney (12-0, 0 KOs) will make her first appearance at 126 pounds after becoming undisputed junior featherweight champion in April. Brown (21-0, 11 KOs) will be making the third defense of her WBC featherweight title.

“She may have been the youngest undisputed champion in UK history, but I’m not stepping into the ring to admire her history,” Brown said. “I’m stepping in to make my own.”
