Eric Basran will return to action on May 30, facing Sebastian Caucaman in a 10-round lightweight main event at Royal King Palace in Metro Vancouver, British Columbia.
Basran (8-1, 3 KOs), a 27-year-old prospect from Surrey, will headline Three Lions Promotions’ The Homecoming card. The bout will be contested for a vacant minor WBC belt and will mark Basran’s first scheduled 10-round fight.
“This will be the biggest fight of my life,” Basran said. “I learned so much in Saudi Arabia and I will be showcasing my improved skills to people who mean the most to me, my family and friends.”

Basran last fought in the WBC Grand Prix in Saudi Arabia, where he suffered his first professional defeat against Danylo Lozan in the tournament’s second round. Now, he returns home looking to show a sharper version of himself.
Caucaman (5-1-1, 2 KOs), a 31-year-old from Chile, enters after a wide decision win over Felipe Pizarro last October. The fight will be only his second outside Chile and just his second scheduled 10-rounder.
The card also includes Buneet Bisla (14-1, 7 KOs) in an eight-round light heavyweight co-feature, John-Michael Bianco (9-1, 4 KOs) vs. Harkirat Nijjar (6-0, 5 KOs), and appearances from Nyousha Nakhjiri (5-0, 2 KOs), Meilyn Sanchez Martinez (3-0, 1 KO), and Vadym Klym (2-0).
