Demetrius “Boo Boo” Andrade will return to the ring for the first time in more than two years when he faces Douglas Ataide on July 24 at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut.
The former two-division world champion (32-1, 19 KOs) will headline CES Boxing’s Championship Jackpot 2026 card in his first fight under a new partnership with the promotion. Ataide enters with a record of 20-5-1 (11 KOs).
CES Boxing will officially present the event at a public press conference on July 15 at The Wolf Den inside Mohegan Sun Casino. The event begins at 3 p.m., is free to attend and will feature several fighters from the card.
Undefeated WBC International featherweight champion Kevin Walsh (20-0, 10 KOs), will face Dannis Arias (20-5, 17 KOs), after scoring a major upset victory over Michael Conlan in Belfast.
The undercard also includes Slawomir Bohdziewicz vs Russ Kimber at cruiserweight, Douglas Marroquin vs Daine Smikle in an unbeaten middleweight matchup, and Joseph Chisholm vs Josh Alvarado at bantamweight.
Unbeaten Connecticut prospects Gianni Liguori, Carlos Perez, Anthony Nieves and Kevante Wineglass are also scheduled to appear on the July 24 show.
