Africa’s boxing spotlight will turn to Accra on April 10 as a stacked fight card takes over the Bukom Boxing Arena.
The main event sees unbeaten Ghanaian star Theo Allotey (13-0, 10 KOs) face Namibia’s Jonas Erastus in a 10-round super flyweight bout for the WBA Africa Gold title. Fighting on home soil, Allotey will look to extend his unbeaten run and continue building his reputation in front of a local crowd.
In the co-main event, cruiserweight prospect Ahmed Abdula (9-0, 7 KOs) meets Nigeria’s Obaro Eradajaye (22-2, 21 KOs) for the WBA Africa cruiserweight title. The matchup presents a significant test for Abdula against an opponent known for his knockout power and experience.
The card also features several notable matchups, including Chris Kongo taking on Ghana’s Samson Solomon at super welterweight, while Jerry Lartey faces Oliver Duffy for the WBA Africa super lightweight title. Additional bouts will showcase emerging talents such as Kevin Abraham, Nathaniel Suppey, and Sedem Ama.
Veteran broadcaster Nathaniel Attoh will serve as ring announcer.
