Victor Santillan

Victor Daniel Santillan Perez (born July 22, 1995) is a Dominican professional boxer from La Romana, Dominican Republic. A southpaw standing 5-foot-5½, Santillan has competed at bantamweight and super bantamweight during his professional career.

Santillan built an extensive amateur background before turning professional, compiling more than 200 amateur victories. His biggest international success came at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto, where he won a bronze medal in the light flyweight division while representing the Dominican Republic.

He made his professional debut in April 2018 with a first-round stoppage of Louis Rios. After establishing himself through a series of victories in the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and the United States, Santillan won his first professional title in May 2021 by defeating Jose Armando Valdes Bernal via unanimous decision for the vacant WBA Fedecaribe bantamweight championship.

Santillan scored one of the most notable wins of his career in June 2022, when he outpointed Carlos Caraballo over eight rounds in New York. He later stopped Renson Robles in the sixth round before suffering a split-decision defeat to Sho Ishida in a 12-round contest in Osaka in June 2023.

Santillan later returned to Japan to face Tenshin Nasukawa in June 2025, losing by unanimous decision over ten rounds. In February 2026, he stopped Noel Reyes Cepeda in the third round in Santo Domingo to win the interim WBA super bantamweight title.
