Moses Jolly

Moses Jolly, known as “The Native,” is an unbeaten Welsh heavyweight from Swansea. Standing at 6'6", Jolly combines athleticism, movement, rhythm and power with a flamboyant personality that has quickly made him one of the more distinctive fighters on the British boxing scene. Managed by Mickey Helliet and trained by David John, he made his professional debut in May 2022 and has built his record primarily in Wales.

Jolly started his professional career with a four-round points victory over Lamah Griggs before producing a series of stoppage wins over Luke Batstone, Phil Williams, Joel Ducille and Ryan Labourn. He continued his unbeaten run with stoppages of Jake Darnell and Milen Paunov, then defeated Amine Boucetta by six-round decision in May 2024. In February 2025, he stopped Yury Bykhautsou in the opening round with a right cross, before adding another first-round knockout over John Cortez in July 2025.

Jolly returned in May 2026 to defeat Will Howe by eight-round decision. A late starter who previously explored martial arts and music, Jolly has developed a reputation for his unorthodox movement, powerful jab and entertaining celebrations. With valuable sparring experience against heavyweights such as Daniel Dubois and Joe Joyce, Jolly continues to pursue his ambition of becoming the first Welsh-born heavyweight world champion.
