Mohammed Alakel

Mohammed Alakel (born June 15, 2004, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia) is a rising Saudi Arabian professional boxer competing in the super featherweight division. Nicknamed “Mighty,” Alakel has quickly gained attention in the sport with his skill, discipline, and early success, becoming one of the most promising young fighters to emerge from the Middle East.

Alakel made his professional debut on October 12, 2024, on one of the year’s biggest stages — the undercard of the highly anticipated Artur Beterbiev vs. Dmitry Bivol showdown. Facing Colombia’s Jesus Gonzalez, he impressed with a composed performance, securing a unanimous decision victory. Just two months later, he returned on another global stage, fighting on the Oleksandr Usyk vs. Tyson Fury II undercard, where he outpointed Joshua Ocampo.

Continuing his momentum, Alakel fought regularly throughout 2025, picking up points victories against Engel Gomez and Alexander Morales. Demonstrating steady progress with each outing, he showcased sharp technical ability and patience in the ring. His breakthrough moment came when he scored his first career knockout against India’s Yumnam Santosh Singh, stopping him in the first round.
