Miranda Reyes

Miranda Lorena Reyes (born July 16, 2001) is an American professional boxer from El Paso, Texas. Nicknamed “La Alacrana,” Reyes stands 5-foot-5 and fights from an orthodox stance. She has competed across the lightweight and super lightweight divisions.

Reyes made her professional debut in December 2018 with a unanimous-decision victory over Larizza Martinez. After a lengthy break, she returned in 2021 and added wins over Ruth Garcia, Indyra Guadalupe Chan Farfan, Erica Donnelly and Camille Embry, while also fighting Susany Perez Santamaria to a majority draw.

In 2022, Reyes stepped up in competition against Jaica Green and then defeated experienced former world champion Jaime Clampitt by unanimous decision over eight rounds. She followed that with another notable victory over Yazmin Rivas in September 2023.

Reyes challenged Caroline Dubois for the IBO lightweight title at Wembley Arena in February 2024, losing by unanimous decision over ten rounds. Later that year, she faced Stephanie Han in El Paso and was again defeated on points.

Reyes rebounded with unanimous-decision victories over Yolanda Vega and Camilla Panatta. Her career has included bouts in the United States, Mexico and the United Kingdom, with several appearances against experienced contenders and former champions.
