Mea Motu, born on September 20, 1999, in Kaitaia, New Zealand, is a rising star in professional boxing, known by the nickname “The Night.” Standing at 5 feet 6 inches tall, she brings a unique essence to the ring.

Growing up in Kaitaia, a small town in the northernmost region of New Zealand, Motu was raised in a close-knit Māori community, which instilled in her a strong sense of cultural pride from an early age.

Motu continued her success with notable victories, including a unanimous decision win against Michaela Jenkins in July 2021 and a split decision victory over Rangi Hetet in August 2021.
