Jessica Barry

Jessica “Banshee” Barry is an English professional boxer from Warwickshire who competes primarily at featherweight. A former amateur standout with an 18-1 record, Barry turned professional in 2022 and quickly established herself as one of the leading female fighters from the region. Barry captured her first major title in June 2024, stopping Beccy Ferguson in the sixth round to win the vacant BBBofC Midlands Area super-featherweight championship. She moved down to featherweight later that year and claimed the vacant English title with a unanimous decision over Chelsey Arnell in December 2024.

In March 2025, Barry added the Commonwealth Silver featherweight title to her collection, defeating Linzi Buczynskyj by unanimous decision over 10 rounds. The victory made her the first female professional boxer from the Warwickshire area to win a Commonwealth title.

Barry continued to compete successfully in 2025 and 2026, including a majority-decision victory over Laela El Ksiri in France before defeating Buczynskyj for a second time in March 2026. Known as “The Banshee,” Barry has built her career around a technical style and consistent activity while competing for titles across featherweight and super-featherweight.
