Biography
Francisco Daniel Veron (born October 28, 1998) is an Argentine professional boxer from Jose Leon Suarez, Buenos Aires. Nicknamed “Bebu,” Veron has competed primarily at super welterweight and fights from an orthodox stance. He later established his fighting base in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Veron began his professional career in November 2020 and opened with a series of stoppage victories, defeating Lucas Matias Rubiola, Walter Exequiel Zabala and Dario Manuel Carrizo before going the distance for the first time against Agustin Lugo Rodriguez in September 2021. He followed that victory with another unanimous decision over Leonardo Anguiano Benitez.
During 2022, Veron added several more stoppage wins, including first-round victories over Carlos Miguel Ronner, Octavian Gratii and Galvis Guerra. He later stopped Leonardo Di Stefano in the fifth round in Orlando before earning a notable split-decision victory over Timur Kerefov in Buenos Aires in June 2023.
Veron fought Jahi Tucker to a majority draw later in 2023 before defeating Angel Ruiz Astorga by unanimous decision in April 2024. Four months later, he suffered the first defeat of his professional career when Brandon Adams outpointed him over ten rounds in Atlanta.
He subsequently earned unanimous-decision victories over Vladimir Hernandez, Roiman Villa and Raul Garcia. Veron dropped Villa in the ninth round of their November 2025 contest, while his April 2026 victory over Garcia at the Prudential Center in Newark earned him the WBC Latino super welterweight title.
