Caroline Veyre

Caroline Veyre (born 4 October 1988 in Paris, France) is a French-born Canadian professional boxer who has competed across the lightweight, featherweight, and super-featherweight divisions. Nicknamed Caro, she represents Canada and fights from an orthodox stance. Before turning professional, Veyre established herself as one of Canada’s most accomplished amateur boxers of her generation.

After moving to Canada in 2003, Veyre took up boxing at the age of 18, initially as a way to stay fit and learn self-defence. Training out of Montreal, she quickly rose through the national ranks, winning Canadian titles in 2013 and 2014. Her amateur career peaked at the 2015 Pan American Games, where she captured gold in the lightweight division. She later competed at the delayed 2020 Summer Olympics, reaching the quarter-finals at featherweight and cementing her status as an elite international amateur.

Veyre turned professional in 2022 and has since built a strong résumé based on consistency and ring intelligence rather than knockout power. She won her debut by unanimous decision and steadily progressed through competitive opposition, claiming the WBC female featherweight International title in December 2024. In July 2025, she scored a significant career victory by defeating Licia Boudersa to win the vacant WBC Silver female featherweight title in Detroit.
