Blake “Bomber” Wells is an Australian southpaw from Bairnsdale, Victoria, who has competed at both middleweight and light heavyweight during his professional career. A professional since 2016, Wells has established himself as an experienced contender with five stoppage wins.
After suffering consecutive decision defeats to Tej Pratap Singh in 2023, Wells returned to winning form with victories over Waiwit Nareeruk, Arnel Tinampay and Flin Makeham. In September 2024, he defeated Apai Piutau Cook by split decision to win the Victorian middleweight title.
Wells then scored the biggest win of his career in April 2025, upsetting highly ranked New Zealander Andrei Mikhailovich by split decision. He followed that victory by stopping Yilixiati Ainiwaer in the ninth round in January 2026 to claim the vacant IBF Pan Pacific middleweight title.
Wells is scheduled to defend his position against unbeaten Callum Peters for the vacant IBF Pan Pacific middleweight title on August 26, 2026, on the Tszyu–Mahoney card in Queensland.
