Amelia Moore

Amelia Moore (born February 4, 1990) is an American professional boxer from Middletown, Connecticut. Standing 5-foot-9 and fighting from an orthodox stance, Moore has competed in the lightweight division after a long and accomplished amateur career.

Moore began practicing martial arts at the age of seven and later took up boxing while still in high school. She trained under former world champion Joey Gamache in Maine and continued pursuing the sport while attending the United States Naval Academy. Moore began competing for USA Boxing in 2011.

Her amateur career included multiple national titles and international success. Moore won national championships in the United States, captured a National Golden Gloves title, and earned a bronze medal at the 2022 Continental Championships in Guayaquil. She also made multiple attempts to qualify for the Olympic Games, including serving as an alternate for the Tokyo Olympic team.

Moore turned professional in November 2024, defeating Michaele Nogue by unanimous decision. She followed that victory with a second-round knockout of Michelle Cook and later earned decision wins over Victoria Mason and Bonnie Hunter.

In March 2026, Moore defeated Hunter over eight rounds to win the vacant NABF lightweight title. Her professional career followed more than a decade of high-level amateur competition and marked a new chapter in a boxing journey that began during her teenage years.
