The WBO/WBA junior middleweight unification bout between Xander Zayas and Abass Baraou now has a confirmed broadcast platform. Top Rank announced that the January 31 showdown from Coliseo José Miguel Agrelot in San Juan, Puerto Rico, will air live and for free on the Top Rank Classics FAST channel.
The broadcast is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. ET and will be available via Top Rank Classics on mobile and desktop, as well as FAST channel apps including Roku, Tubi, and Vizio. In addition to the main event, the stream will feature a welterweight bout between Rohan Polanco and Christian Gomez.
Zayas (22-0, 13 KOs) will make the first defense of his WBO 154-pound title and fight in Puerto Rico for the first time since 2020. The 23-year-old claimed the vacant belt in July with a unanimous decision victory over Jorge Garcia and now headlines a major homecoming bout on the island.
Baraou (17-1, 9 KOs) enters the ring as the reigning WBA junior middleweight champion, making his first appearance since winning the title via unanimous decision over Yoenis Tellez in August. The unification bout is a significant opportunity for both fighters to consolidate titles at 154 pounds.
The undercard includes Juanmita Lopez De Jesus vs. Conner Goade, Carlo De Leon Castro vs. Diuhl Olguin, Yadriel Caban vs. Jeremis Hernandez-Torres, Euri Cedeno vs. Etoundi Michel William, and Giovani Santillan vs. Courtney Pennington. The event continues Top Rank’s recent move to air live fights on its own Classics channel following the expiration of its deal with ESPN.
