State Farm Arena in Atlanta hosted a championship-heavy boxing card on Saturday night, headlined by Claressa Shields and Kaye Scott for the unified WBA and WBC middleweight titles. The event also featured an unbeaten middleweight clash between Troy Isley and Joseph Hicks, along with WBC super featherweight championship action.
In the main event, Claressa Shields stopped Kaye Scott in the sixth round to capture the WBA and WBC middleweight titles. Shields hurt Scott with a left hook that forced an eight-count before following with a barrage of punches, prompting Scott’s corner to throw in the towel at 1:38 of Round 6. Shields improved to (19-0, 4 KOs), while Scott fell to (5-2-1).

Troy Isley (17-0, 6 KOs) remained unbeaten with a unanimous decision over Joseph Hicks (12-2, 7 KOs) in the middleweight co-feature. Despite losing a point for kidney punches in the fifth round, Isley earned scores of 96-93, 96-93, and 97-92.
At super bantamweight, Ashleyann Lozada (5-0, 1 KO) dominated Paulette Valenzuela Cuesta (19-6-1, 4 KOs) over 10 rounds, winning by scores of 99-91, 100-90, and 100-90. Bernice Ferreira (11-0, 4 KOs) also captured the WBC super featherweight title after champion Caroline Veyre (11-2) was disqualified in the eighth round for excessive holding, having already been deducted points for the same infraction in rounds four and seven.

Elsewhere, Atif Oberlton (17-0, 14 KOs) swept all three scorecards 100-90 against Roamer Alexis Angulo (29-5, 24 KOs), while Da’Velle Smith (15-0, 10 KOs) stopped Hakim Lopez (16-2, 9 KOs) in the sixth round. Shannel Butler (9-0, 3 KOs) and Jaquan McElroy (8-0, 2 KOs) earned unanimous decisions, while Daniel Mercado (2-0, 2 KOs) needed just 1:48 to knock out Rahmel McKinley (1-5) in the opening round.
