St. Mary’s Stadium in Southampton hosted a Queensberry Promotions card topped by Ryan Garner and Michael Magnesi fighting for the WBC Interim World Super Featherweight title.

In the main event, Ryan Garner defeated Michael Magnesi by unanimous decision after 12 fast-paced rounds. Garner landed the cleaner punches for much of the fight, while Magnesi kept the pressure high and continued answering back in exchanges. The bout stayed entertaining until the final bell, with Garner earning scores of 116-112, 119-109, and 118-110 to capture the interim title.

In the chief support, Bradley Goldsmith defeated Brad Pauls by unanimous decision to win the IBF International middleweight title. Goldsmith boxed well behind his jab, scored a knockdown in the sixth round, and responded strongly after Pauls briefly hurt him in the seventh. The judges scored the fight 99-90, 99-90, and 97-92.

Lewis Edmondson captured the vacant WBA International light heavyweight title with a unanimous decision over Lyndon Arthur. Edmondson hurt Arthur with a right hand in the third round, while Arthur came back well in the middle stages, especially with uppercuts in the eighth. Edmondson finished strongly and took the decision by scores of 96-94, 97-93, and 96-94.

At super middleweight, Taylor Bevan remained unbeaten with a majority decision over Ryszard Lewicki. Bevan had the cleaner work early and landed several eye-catching shots, including a right hand that knocked Lewicki’s mouthpiece out in the seventh. Lewicki stayed competitive, but Bevan took the decision by scores of 97-94, 97-94, and 95-95.

In cruiserweight action, Iman Zahmatkesh defeated Franklin Arinze over eight rounds to claim the vacant Commonwealth International title. Arinze scored the fight’s only knockdown in round four, but Zahmatkesh rallied in the later rounds and finished strongly enough to win 77-74 on referee Bernard Oyet’s card.
