The O2 Arena in London was electric on Saturday night as Joseph Parker and Fabio Wardley clashed in a battle of interim heavyweight champions. With both men holding secondary titles this was about more than just belts. The winner would move one step closer to a shot at Oleksandr Usyk in 2026, and the atmosphere reflected that high-stakes energy.
In the main event, Fabio Wardley and Joseph Parker went toe to toe through ten grueling rounds. Parker looked sharp early, boxing well behind his jab and forcing Wardley to adjust. As the rounds wore on, Wardley began finding his rhythm, walking Parker down and landing clean shots to the head and body. The turning point came late in the tenth when Parker was rocked just before the bell. Wardley came out blazing in the eleventh, landing heavy rights that forced referee Howard Foster to step in and halt the contest.
