With fight night looming, Jake Paul and Julio César Chávez Jr. are tipping the scales in Anaheim, locking in their June 28 cruiserweight clash at Honda Center. After stopping Andre August in December, Paul now meets a seasoned Mexican whose résumé includes Sergio Martínez and Canelo Álvarez.

The co-feature carries genuine stakes: unified WBA/WBO cruiserweight champion Gilberto “Zurdo” Ramírez risks his new 200-lb crowns against Cuban puncher Yuniel Dorticos. Ramírez seized the belts in March and has already floated Canelo or Jake Paul as future opponents, but first must defuse the “KO Doctor,” whose 93 percent stoppage rate makes this stylistic fire versus fire.

Prospect-veteran clashes deepen the main card. Lightweight prodigy Floyd “Kid Austin” Schofield gets his sternest test against ex-IBF champ Tevin Farmer, while welterweights Avious Griffin–Julian Rodríguez and Raúl Curiel–Víctor Ezequiel Rodríguez round out ten-rounders with ranking implications.

The prelims offer a Hall-of-Fame twist: former three-division boxing and UFC bantamweight champion Holly Holm ends a 12-year ring absence versus unbeaten Mexican Yolanda Vega Ochoa at lightweight, eyeing fast-track contention opposite Katie Taylor or Amanda Serrano. Talents like Naomy Valle, John “Scrappy” Ramírez, and Victor Morales also feature, giving the DAZN PPV a full twelve-fight slate.
