In an interesting development in the boxing world, Saudi Arabia-based promotional company, Skill Challenge Entertainment, is set to present a tempting offer to WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury. This comes as the company’s recent acquisition, WBO, IBF, IBO, WBA heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk, prepares to return to the ring. Earlier in the year, talks for an undisputed clash between Fury and Usyk at London’s Wembley Stadium fell apart due to disagreements over financial terms for a rematch.

Skill Challenge Entertainment, led by Amer Abdallah, is now orchestrating a rescheduled bout between Fury and Usyk for December in Saudi Arabia. Usyk, who is obligated to make a mandatory defense against WBA ‘regular’ champion Daniel Dubois this August, is keen to face Fury in a December face-off, assuming all goes well. Abdallah, however, underlined that Skill Challenge does not intend to engage in protracted negotiations with Fury but rather, plans to extend him a sizable offer, leaving the decision up to Fury himself.

“The premium offer will be coming soon, it will be based on the market value and demand of the fight,” Abdallah revealed to Talk Sport. “It will be a premium price, we would never insult anybody with the offer... The offer will be there but it’s not going to be a negotiation, it will be ‘Here’s a great premium price’.” He concluded, adding that they hope to work with Fury and bring him to the Kingdom.
