Tyson Fury says he would be willing to challenge newly crowned IBF heavyweight champion Filip Hrgovic if the financial terms make sense.
Hrgovic captured the vacant IBF title after stopping Moses Itauma in the ninth round at The O2 in London, overcoming an early knockdown and heavy pressure before taking control as Itauma faded.
Asked about potentially facing Hrgovic, Fury kept his response simple: “If the money is right, I’ll fight anybody.”
Fury also reacted to Itauma’s first professional defeat, saying setbacks are simply part of boxing. “That’s boxing, it happens,” he said, adding that it remains to be seen how Itauma responds.
The former WBC champion is currently training in Miami while negotiations continue for a long-discussed fight with Anthony Joshua.
